You may be in a situation in which you are unable to travel to the nearest regional agency in order to submit your application. You can still get a same day passport but you will have to apply though a private expediting service. Expediters have a special relationship with the regional agencies which allow them to submit applications for their clients.

To apply for a same day passport thourgh an expediter, you just need to complete your application and send them your application and documents. Remember, applications for a new passport still need to be presented to an authorized agent before being sent to the expediting service. Send everything by overnight express.

While a request to process and application in 10 business days may not be that much more, same day processing can be quite expensive.
