Wow! Could anything be more simple or more delicious than this Sesame Cream Cheese Dip? I think not!
Wow! Could anything be more simple or more delicious than this Sesame Cream Cheese Dip? I think not!
My nephew, Scotty’s wife, Noelle brought this delicious cream cheese dip to a recent family gathering. It was beautiful in it’s simplicity, and disappeared quickly because frankly, it’s addicting!
All you need to add to this cheese dip is your favorite dipper or cracker. Wheat thins work well because they cut into the cream cheese block like a knife. But rice crackers are delicious with it – especially when the cream cheese softens a little.
What you’ll need:
- 1 8-ounce block of cream cheese
- toasted sesame seeds
- soy sauce
Just unwrap the cream cheese and place on a pretty serving plate, preferably one that has a little bit of a side coming up. If you don’t have anything like that, you can use a very shallow bowl.
Next, pour the soy sauce over the cream cheese and enough to surround the cream cheese block.
Top with toasted sesame seeds and sprinkle a few so they float in the soy sauce.
Serve with your crackers and watch everyone ooh and ahh over it!
