It doesn’t take a great deal of talent to write an e-book but the benefits can be enormous in the short and long term. If you’ve been delaying on writing your own, try this easy process below. Some writers only contribute small amounts to their books, relying on hired writers to do the bulk of the work, just finishing it off themselves.

The subject of your e-book is quite easy to work out if you have an interest in a specific area, why not write some articles and get the feed back on whether people are willing to pay for this information. Why not start by writing a range of articles which will not only help you with your writing practice but they can be used to get interest in the book you are compiling. Post several articles on various websites, as well as on the article directories and the number of views your articles receive will show you what potential your book has for making sales.

It is then a simple matter of writing more articles for the e-book itself, all the time working on the overall structure of it. You book should be in three to four sections and will contain an introduction, the main body of the material, a closing chapter and possibly some additional material too. If you write a few more articles that complement the book you may find it will increase the overall perceived value.

Once each article has been written, place into the e-book; just how many you will ultimately require will depend on how long you want it to be. If you want someone to actually read your e-book, it can’t be too long so keep it informative and around fifty pages in length. The reason for this is books on screen are not as easy to ready so no-one wants to read information that is not directly related to the subject.

Most e-books contain extra or bonus information collected by the author; be on the look-out for this so you can provide some too. of previous articles or even another short report you have compiled. Any extra material you supply will need to be worthwhile on its own and be related to your e-book subject.
