Silly things kids say

Kids are always learning and they don’t always learn things you’d like them to know.

Kids are always learning and they don’t always learn things you’d like them to know. Recently she heard the phrase na na boo boo. It’s not the worst or best phrase in the worlds but it does crack her up.

I’m out of town right now so I call her every evening and morning. She thinks it is very funny to get on the phone, say that, crack up and walk away. She’ll then get back on the phone and talk with me.

I suppose we could scold her but why? I know it’s a short lived phase. She’s not being rude or thinking that she is saying something wrong but rather she is being funny. We’ve explained you can’t always say that and you don’t say that to your friends.

If we don’t make a big deal of it I’m sure it will be a funny phase that goes away soon.
