I have used your recommendation on vinigar and hot water. I put a whole cup of water in the pot and run the cycle but now I only get 2/3 cup of coffee. Where is the rest of the water going? It does not give me a full cup of coffee any more.

Cleaning coffee with vinegar should not do anything with how much coffee you would receive. It's just a safe way to clean your coffee maker without using any other chemicals. Depending on how old your coffee maker is it may be time to replace. Check with the manufacturer to see on your particular coffeemaker whether other people have had this type of or any other type of cleaning problem after cleaning your machine. Daryl
