Star Wars: Rogue Leader

This, my friends, is dogfighting action at it’s finest. It is very challenging, keeping you on your toes from level one, but is not frusturating, at least, until you hit the last level. You fly through 10 normal missions and 5 bonus missions with varying and exciting objectives, from bombing an imperial base to taking down AT-ATs on Hoth (Which, in my opinion, is the greatest moment in all of Star Wars gaming!). Every level offers a bronze, silver and gold medal if you are ridiculously good.

At the start of each mission you can only fly one ship, but as you progress through the game and get medals, you become able to fly one of several ships in each level. You can choose from ten different ships with different weaponry if you’ve gotten to the bonus missions. Even until then, you can fly seven. Also in each level is a well-hidden powerup, with permanently upgrades a ship’s feature (like shields, homing missiles, etc.). My favorite part of the whole game is the co-op! You can start a new file with more enemies, but with someone else at your side! It just doesn’t get much better than this. Here’s a little tip: On the Hoth level, after the base is destroyed, fly BACK to where it stood and you can get a hidden powerup! Also, get a gold medal on EVERY mission, and… boy, I shouldn’t tell you. You should, however, pick this game up.
