Stubborn belly fat- WIll it ever go away?

by Perriann Rodriguez, published Thursday, April 17th, 2008 at 10:49 am

I have been making an effort to exercise at least 30 minutes every day. My goal is to break a sweat each time. After about 3-1/2 months of this daily workout, I still seem to have the same roll of fat on my belly.

Will it ever go away?

My strategy to get rid of belly fat

I started out by trying to do about 100 incline situps every day at the gym. Although my stomach muscles are getting stronger, the roll isn’t going anywhere.

Then I tried to step up my aerobic workout by breaking a sweat and going for at least 30 minutes at an activity that will make me sweat.

Now I am going to really attack my diet. The bag of candy that I munch on while sitting at the computer probably doesn’t help with the belly situation. So today I am going to try to cut out as much sugar as possible in my diet since this is a high contributor to poundage.

Also, I just got an offer for this free guide from women’s health magazine about eating the ’secret’ food that helps you lose 81% more belly fat. I just can’t wait until I get it. The secret food will probably something awful.

But anyways, I will keep you posted.

I would suggest you stop doing the situps and start doing a ton of cardio. It is almost impossible to “spot reduce”, you usually lose fat evenly. I for one lose the fat in my belly LAST. It sucks but it is just the way it goes.
