Sun Palace Resort
If you are looking for a great couples only resort then look to the newly rebuilt (due to the damage from hurricane Wilma about a year ago) Sun Palace Resort in beautiful Cancun Mexico.
The Mexican economy thrives on tourism along it’s famous Cancun beaches. Sun Palace Resorts was one of the leading resorts in Cancun prior to the hurricane. Hurricane Wilma made a good attempt at destroying it an any future for these wonderful, hardworking Mexican folks. Instead of giving up after the hurricane, the Mexican tourist boards and Palace resort owners got busy hiring workers around the clock to rebuild a better and even more beautiful, upscale Cancun and Sun Palace Resort for their future tourists.
Many articles have been written lately about the rebuilding of the Cancun area. The Sun Palace Resort has been included in those articles. The main jist of the articles is that Cancun is not only rebuilding physically but is also trying to establish a new and more family appealing image. Gone is the emphasis on the “girls gone wild” days on the Cancun beaches (although I’m sure you will still see a few girls and guys going wild during Spring Break). The new emphasis is on a family friendly, fun and safe experience, more upscale and yes, even more expensive. There are still deals at the 3 star resorts, but the Sun Palace is considered to be a 4 1/2 to 5 star resort.
Just being rebuilt I’m sure there are still things that need to be done. My son will be visiting the Sun Palace Resort this coming week for his 18th birthday (thanks only to the fact that I am a VIP member and get GREAT discounts). He will be bringing back a first hand account of what he sees and I will relay it to you. In the meantime, please feel free to visit http://www.dreamcancunresorts.com for some exciting information on how you and your family can have a more affordable week at any one of the Palace Resorts.
