Taylor Swift Hairstyles

Taylor Swift has had a whirlwind career.  It seems like everything she touches now turns into gold.  And her hairstyles are no exceptions.  The naturally curled Taylor Swift has shown us that her style and class is not only for her music.

Her elaborate updos that include fringe curly pieces around her face are ever so romantic, see photo left.  This hairstyle is perfect for any formal occasion such as the prom or even a wedding. 

To create this style, first apply a curl-enhancing cream or gel to damp hair. Blow dry the hair using a diffuser attachment and just your fingers to shape and position the curls.  If you use a brush you will end up removing any natural curl that you have.

Next (this is the hardest part) you will need to add all over curls using a medium barrell curling iron.  Wrap small sections of hair around the iron and hold it in a vertical position. Leave the iron in for 20-30 seconds, or until the hair is hot to the touch and remove.  Allow the hair to cool completely before shaping the hair.

Part the hair deep on one side and pull back all the hair loosely, twisting into a low chignon.  Leave out some wispy strands around the face to soften the style.  Finish off the style with a strong hold hair spray.
