I recently replaced my hunter douglas model fan type 3 I am still trying to get it to stay OFF in the middle of the night. Hunter Doublas says its' the frequency. I've had the frequency changed 3 times and can't afford to pay for another service call. My latest person to try to fix this informs me that it might be because there's no ground connection -- so maybe it's not a Hunter Douglas problem but a lack of a ground from Northside Lightin's Tucson AZ who first installed my fan. The first fan worked from 2001 until early 2009 , apparently without a ground.
