Timing Market Turns 11/03/2005
Online Stock Market Research for Investments and Trading
IMVHMO** – Market Timing for Thursday, 11/03/2005
We remain fully 100% net long our core position since the 24th of October, 2005.
Investment Outlook-
Our opinion for a multiple month horizon stock investment portfolio is that investors should remain long, or invested in healthy stocks that are performing.
Futures Trading and Option Trading Outlook:
Our opinion for futures trading and option trading with a long swing position focus is to be alert to the nearest resistance levels.
We would also point to the consistent opening gaps that continue to slow the advance and yet provide excellent intraday swing trading opportunities.
You might want to see a timing exercise we attempted today at our Elite Trader Journal .
We experienced some data transmission issues midday but it lends a different perspective to the myth that markets can’t be forecasted and timed, down to the 1-minute timeframe. The Elite Trader site does not require registration to simply read the various threads.
The indexes have mucked their way through many levels of former support pivots that have since become resistance. The upward market action, since the daily timing loci for a market reversal on October 21st and October 24th (see previous postings) has not been the powerful rally we expected at least not yet.
We will be sharing our next daily timing locus as the indexes approach more significant levels of upward resistance in the Dow 30 Industrials and the S & P 500.
Many times in an upward move, there is little to say other than, It is still rising. One does have to keep in touch with the markets and be aware of any significant and negative news event.
Today’s news held some exciting surprises on the employment data from the U.S. Labor Department, and a positive outcome of litigation for the maker of Vioxx, Merck Pharmaceuticals.
Always be a blessing to others.
