Tips To Help You Stop Dieting Forever

Ann Loise Gittleman, a nationally known author and nutritionist proves in her book “Eat Fat, Lose Weight…” how the essential fats like the omega oils can achieve weight loss goals, cardiovascular health, and clear and calming thought processes. She discussed, throughout in her book, the different types of fats, the heart-healthy as well as the harmful fats, the fats quantities you need to stay healthy, which fats to eat throughout your lifetime to promote efficient fat burning and lasting weight loss.

Together with co-author Dina R. Nunziato, they offer ten illuminating tips to help you stop dieting forever :

1. Don’t skip breakfast. Research has shown that breakfast skippers have problems concentrating and lack sustainable energy. Their tip is to keep you going is just to drop a couple of tablespoons of natural peanut or almond butter on some whole-grain crackers as you fly out the door and take an orange to eat at the office.

2. Eat all the colors of the rainbow. You should get all the protective phytochemicals from brightly colored vegetables and fruits.

3. Don’t eat the same foods every day. The more kinds of foods you eat, the greater your chances of taking in all the important nutrients , antioxidants and phytochemicals that fight diseases.

4. Avoid large portions of pasta, and cut down on bread, bagels, and white rice. These fast-acting carbohydrates can put on weight, slow you down, and make you feel you have a hangover. The advice is to consider instead whole-food side dishes of brown rice, yams, or a small baked potato with the skin on.

5. Eat a large lunch and a small dinner.



6. Use pure water as the beverage of choice. Water decreases hunger and keeps the brain alert. For optimum health, strive for at least twelve 8-ounce glasses spread throughout the day.

7. Try not to go more than four hours without eating. Keeping blood sugar levels steady translates into more weight loss for you.

8. Snack in the midafternoon. Learn to grab a handful of almonds, pumpkin seeds, cashews, or an ounce of low-fat cheese with a piece of fruit.

9. Don’t desert dessert. Simply don’t deprive yourself. A little bit of natural fruit sorbet or even fresh fruit will give your sweet tooth just the satisfaction it needs.

10. When you go out to eat, tell the waiter to please remove the bread. A good alternative is to order a seafood cocktail or grilled portbello mushroom to take the edge off your hunger. In this way you won’t be tempted to fill up on carbs. Instead of potatoes, pasta, and rice, always ask for more veggies or another salad.
