Vacation on the Fly

Many travel websites will allow you to sign up to get notifications in your inbox when a plan ticket or travel special drops below a certain price. My father enters in all the places he would like to travel, as well as how much he would like to pay for it. Then he gets an email when something falls into his very low price range.

He and my stepmother are on a cruise right now. The planned it maybe a week ahead of time. The cost $250. If you’re willing to leave at the last minute you can really get some absolutely amazing travel deals. The key is last minute.

I have to ask for vacation from my job 2-3 weeks in advance, sometimes longer, so this type of travel would rarely is ever work for me. If you could make plans on the fly like that however, you can catch some amazing deals..

It may be worth it for us schedule bound people to put some numbers into the websites anyway, you never know when that perfect vacation will show up, at a time when you can afford to take it.
