Valentines Day Restaurant Tips

It’s time to make your February 14th Valentines day dinner reservations! Don’t delay because we all know how much your girlfriend will complain if you don’t bring her to the best restaurant in town. Of course I’m exaggerating, but with these Valentines day tips and tricks you’ll be well on your way to choosing the best Valentine Day restaurant for you and your sweetheart to enjoy the evening and celebrate the holiday at its best.

Restaurant Recommendations for Valentines Day

First of all, the choice of which restaurant to bring your date to on Valentine’s Day depends on how long you’ve been dating this special someone. For example if you finally mustered the courage to ask this girl you really really like out for the first time, then you don’t want to overdo it. You’ll want to pick a nice casual restaurant that will not put too much pressure on you or on your date. Remember that you don’t want to scare the girl off on your first official date, no matter how much Valentine’s day is supposed to be special and involve lots of candles and chocolate and deep stares.

If on the other hand you’ve been dating your girlfriend for a long time, say a year or more you’ll want to bring her somewhere that says you really care about her and that you really want her to have a good time, to remember all the great times you spent together. If you know one of her favorite restaurants, take her there. If she spoke of a restaurant that she had never been to but expressed a desire to try it, take her there. If there is a restaurant that seems too expensive but that you two never go to because of the cost, take her there. Of course you might want to consult with her too.

Make your Valentines Day Reservation Online

Now that you’ve found the perfect place to take your sweetheart to on the big V-day, it’s time to make the reservation. If you picked a high class restaurant, chances are that you can make your reservation online. I recommend you check out OpenTable and see if your restaurant is listed. From this site you will earn points when you make a reservation and simply show up, enjoy the food, the atmosphere and the company! Another online valentines day restaurant reservation site is the DinnerBroker. It works essentially the same as OpenTable!

Now that you’re ready to rock and roll with your date at a great restaurant destination, why not add some valentines day gifts or some valentines day flowers and chocolates?
