It has almost been a month since Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning (WAR) was released and the number of subscribers is increasing. The company Mythic Entertainment has revealed in a press release that the number of registered players had surpassed 750 000 subscriptions on October 13th. Mythic modestly admits that this is a good start.

We agree that this is a solid start, but the competition will be fierce in the coming months, as World of Warcraft releases its new expansion Wrath of the Lich King. While Lord of the Rings Online will also have come out with its first expansion Mines of Moria. Also, Funcom announced that they will do everything in their power to keep Age of Conan alive by hiring a new manager. They will begin to create new content for the game.

Warhammer also released larger images of “new” classes of characters which will make their appearance at the end of the year in Warhammer Online. This is not so much news, because the “new” classes” are two classes that had been removed during the development of the title. The Black Guard and The Knight of the Blazing Sun are the two new classes.
