CALORIE AWARE
Normally, I would say that counting calories is not all that important, but it really depends on the person. If you are someone who doesn’t pay any attention to the calories that you are eating, then it would actually be important for you to lose weight and fat. If a person is never aware of the number of calories consumed, then their best bet would be to count calories by weighing food and referencing food charts.
Although this sounds like a big inconvenience, it is only temporary. At least until you get an idea of how many calories that you actually take in daily. To test your caloric awareness, first write down what you THINK you are eating each day in calories. Then write down what foods you eat every day including portion sizes and what you drank. Lastly, research everything you ate on a food chart for one week. Add it up and divide by 7, and this is your average caloric intake.
I really feel that if you try this it will make you more aware of what you are consuming. Then it will be easier to lose the weight. Don’t try to be perfect at counting because the fact is no matter how aware you are, it is Certainly not all that precise. Even if you weigh every bite, it still will not be precise. Most people know that the amount you eat is fundamental to fat loss, but when and what foods you eat make a great difference as well.
