Where to find cheap pumpkins

Ghosts, goblins and withces will soon by knocking at our doors looking for candy. Yes, Halloween is right around the corner and it’s time to get decorations up and pumpkins out there. As we all watch our budgets where is a good place to find cheap pumpkins.

Good places to find cheap pumpkins:

Grocery store – check the newspaper to compare prices though. I’ve seen quite a discrepancy in prices between stores.

Home Improvement stores – Lowe’s, Home Depot and places like that usually carry pumpkins.

Farm stands and farmers markets

Local farms

You can Google to find local farms or farmers markets.

Discount retailers like Wal-Mart and Target. I’ve even seen some gas stations selling pumpkins.

Some boy scout troops will sell them. Ask around.

Ask yout friends and neighbors. Anyone who has planted pumpkins may have an abundance and want to get rid of some.
