Winning an ODI or Test or Twenty20 is always dream for any visiting including currently touring Indian Team. Now Sachin Tendulkar has been ruled out of 4th ODI against Kiwis. Will India clinch the ODI in 4th ODI itself in Sachin’s absence?
A player of Sachin’s caliber is always crucial always crucial to team. Now Sachin has been ruled out of fourth one-day international against New Zealand in Hamilton due to an abdominal injury. Sachin himself claimed that he was sure to aggravate the injury if he continued playing during his knock of 163. Sachin Tendulkar batted with great discomfort and he was forced to retire hurt to save him for other crucial matches. Further the scan had shown swelling and bruising.
In the place of Sachin, Rohit Sharma might join the squad. Current Indian team, which carries the young bunch of players, actually reduced the burden of Tendulkar. The over-dependence on Sachin is very well decreased, since there are match winning players like Virendra Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina and Yousuf Pathan have emerged.
Indians traditionally always weak in their bowling department and now the bowling force is looking settled. Zaheer Khan and Ishant Sharma bowling at tandem causing all kinds of problem, we need two quality seamers to strengthen the bowling department. Irfan Pathan, Praveen Kumar and Munaf Patel are of course bowling with lot of zeal but still they are wavering at times. Spinners are looking quiet settled. Harbhajan and Ojha were bowling well by check the run rate and picking crucial wickets in the middle order. Fielding department has been really improved as this young unit was well trained by Robin Singh.
While Indians are still searching for a quality alrounder, they are now real contender for number one team in the world. Click here to check my blog
