A new twist in marion county florida homes for rent
People who want to move into brand new homes with 0 down! It`s a first for me and I`m positive we`re not the only one`s hearing this from potential renters.
Many seem to believe Rentals being so competitive, it`s similar to buying a home!
For the record we will not allow anyone to move into a home with 0 down!
It isn`t feasible, nor does it make any sense, yet I guess it doesn`t hurt to ask…
The Conversation is as follows:
0 money down: I`m working in Orlando right now and won`t be able to give you any money for this rental for three weeks.
Me: You want us to allow you to live in a home for free, until you can come up with rent?
0 money down: Yeah, I thought it wouldn`t hurt if the landlord knew I`m a good tenant.
Me: Who pays for the electricity while you`re living there for free?!
0 money down: The landlord of course, i`ll have money in a few weeks…
Me: What if you decide to move in between? What do we do than?
0 money down: OH! I won`t move, I promise.
There is no such thing as literally having 0 money down to move into a rental. Landlords, don`t be fooled by anyone who calls you with this wacky ideas no matter how they plead.
Hire professionals who know how to screen these types and manage your property properly.
Back to the “NO MONEY DOWN” renter, we asked him one final question which I thought would end this insanity.
Me: Let me ask you something, if you owned a Brand new home and just closed on it two weeks ago OCALA FLORIDA HOMES FOR RENT.30 JUNIPER LOOP CIR, would you do it?
0 Money down: Absolutely not! Why should I?
Case closed, we told this person. I guess it takes all kinds..
